Scope of work:

Enlarged existing one-story and cellar community facility horizontally and vertically to create an educational and religious community facility. The new five-story (26,000 square feet) and cellar (39,000 square feet) includes upgraded elements such as fire protection, structural and mechanical system to meet the current building code requirements. Furthermore, the new construction complies with the new standards of sustainability and energy efficiency.

Scope of work:

Conversion of an abandoned three-story and cellar wood and brick building into a community facility. The project consisted of a complete gut/rehab of the interior including:

  • New interior concrete footings and slab on grade in the cellar level;

  • New concrete retaining wall on the side of the building to create an exit passageway;

  • New steel superstructure with limited interior steel columns while maintaining the existing wood floor joists and replacing any deteriorated ones;

  • New wood floorings on the first and second floors,  a new layout and construction of the pastor’s quarters;

  • New roofing system and steel dunnage for the proposed new rooftop HVAC equipment;

  • New electrical systems for lighting, and PA equipment;

  • New air conditioning/ventilation systems to serve the intended occupants;

  • New plumbing and heating systems including piping and equipment
